- Store at -20 °C for one year. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20°C. When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody the antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-4 °C.

- background:
NMT2 catalyzes the reaction of N-terminal myristoylation of many signaling proteins. It transfers myristic acid from myristoyl coenzyme A to the amino group of a proteins N-terminal glycine residue. several distinct NMTs exist, varying in apparent molecular weight and /or subcellular distribution.
Function:
Adds a myristoyl group to the N-terminal glycine residue of certain cellular and viral proteins.
Subcellular Location:
Cytoplasm.
Similarity:
Belongs to the NMT family.
