| 描述 | Basic fibroblast growth factor (FGF (basic)) is a heparin-binding mitogen that induces signal transduction by binding to tyrosine kinase FGF receptors. It enhances angiogenesis by stimulating endothelial cell proliferation and migration and producing collagenase and plasminogen activator. The mammalian FGFs mediate developmental programs during embryogenesis and play critical roles in adult tissue repair and maintenance. Basic FGF oligimerizes through a heparin binding domain upon binding to heparin; FGF (basic) should not be measured in heparinized plasma samples. The Human FGF (basic) Kit provides the assay-specific components for the quantitative determination of FGF (basic) in human serum, plasma, cell supernatant, cerebral spinal fluid, urine, and cell lysate. |
