| 描述 | Vascular endothelial growth factor C (VEGF-C) is predominately expressed in the heart, placenta, muscle, ovary, and small intestine. VEGF-C signal transduction is initiated by ligand binding to VEGFR2/Flk-1 and VEGFR3/Flt-4 to stimulate angiogenesis; endothelial cell proliferation and migration; and blood vessel permeability. Co-expression of VEGF and VEGF-C with their respective receptors generates autocrine loops that support cancer cell survival and proliferation. The Human VEGF-C Kit provides the assay-specific components for the quantitative determination of VEGF-C in human serum, plasma, cell supernatant, cerebral spinal fluid, urine, and cell lysate. |
