| 描述 | Human eotaxin (CCL11), also known as small-inducible cytokine A11 (SCYA11), is a 10.7 kDa glycoprotein that binds to the receptor, CCR3. This receptor is shared between eotaxin, eotaxin-3, MCP-3, MCP-4, and RANTES. Eotaxin promotes the recruitment of eosinophils in response to the presence of allergens. It has been implicated in HIV-1 transmission along with MCP-1 and MCP-3 and is associated with chronic bronchitis, osteoarthritis, and colorectal cancer. The Human Eotaxin Kit provides assay-specific components for the quantitative determination of endogenous eotaxin in human urine, serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. |
