背景 | FGF-13 (Fibroblast Growth Factor-13), also known as FGF homologous factor 2 (FHF-2), is a member of the FGF family. It is expressed in brain and skeletal muscle and has been implicated in nervous system development and function. The gene for FGF-13 has been localized in human chromosome X, in a region associated with Borjeson-Forssman-Lehmann syndrome, a syndromal X-linked mental retardation. Two alternately spliced isoforms that differ in their amino-terminal residues have been described. |

Detection of FGF‑13 in RPMI 8226 Human Cell Line by Flow Cytometry. RPMI 8226 human multiple myeloma cell line was stained with Mouse Anti-Human FGF‑13 1B Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB1909, filled histogram) or isotype control antibody (Catalog # MAB003, open histogram), followed by Allophycocyanin-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # F0101B). To facilitate intracellular staining, cells were fixed with Flow Cytometry Fixation Buffer (Catalog # FC004) and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Permeabilization/Wash Buffer I (Catalog # FC005).
