| 背景 | P2RY11belongs to the family of G protein-coupled receptors. This family has severalreceptor subtypes with different pharmacological selectivity, which overlaps insome cases, for various adenosine and uridinenucleotides. P2RY11 is coupled to the stimulation of thephosphoinositideand adenylyl cyclase pathways and behaves as a selectivepurinoceptor. Naturally occuring read-through transcripts,resultingfrom intergenic splicing between P2RY11 and an immediately upstream gene (PPAN,encoding peter pan homolog), have been found. Variants in the P2RY11 gene havebeen associated with narcolepsy. |
