| 描述 | The 25C2 monoclonal antibody specifically binds to Caspase-10 (CASP10/CASP-10). Caspase-10 belongs to the caspase family of cysteine proteases and functions as an initiator caspase in the Fas ligand (CD95L/CD178)- and TNF-induced apoptosis pathways. Several isoforms have been described including, Caspase-10A, -10B, -10C, and -10D. Caspase-10 contains death domains which are involved in its binding to adaptor proteins. Following the binding of Fas ligand and TNF to their receptors (i.e., Fas/CD95 and TNFRI/CD120a, respectively), the Caspase-10/adaptor protein complexes are recruited to the intracellular death domains of the ligand-bound receptors where Caspase-10 gets cleaved. Cleaved Caspase-10 can then activate downstream caspase members, including Caspase-3 and Caspase-7, which in turn execute the apoptosis signaling pathway. |
