| 描述 | The 494025 monoclonal antibody specifically binds to EMR2 (Epidermal Growth Factor Module-containing Mucin-like Receptor 2) glycoprotein which is also known as CD312. EMR2 belongs to the Epidermal Growth Factor-seven Span Transmembrane (EFG-TM7) family. EMR2 is expressed by activated lymphocytes and myeloid cells. CD312 can bind to the glycosaminoglycans, dermatan sulfate and chondroitin sulfate. Upon cellular activation, CD312 expression increases and localizes to the leading edge of neutrophils and regulates their adhesion, migration and production of superoxide anion. CD312 expression increases as monocytes differentiate into macrophages but decreases upon differentiation into dendritic cells. EMR2 may also mediate some interactions between activated B cells that express chondroitin sulfate and activated dendritic cells, macrophages and T cells. |
