| 描述 | The 6B1monoclonal antibody specifically binds to TREM-1 (Triggering Receptor Expressed on Myeloid Cells 1 or Triggering Receptor Expressed on Monocytes 1) which is also known as CD354. CD354 is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein that belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily. CD354 is highly expressed by neutrophils and monocytes. It is also reportedly expressed at lower levels by a variety of cells including subsets of T and B cells, NK cells and dendritic cells. Its expression is upregulated on leucocytes in response to microbial lipopolysaccharide, eg, during microbial infections or sepsis. CD354 activation triggers the release of proinflammatory cytokines and chemokines. A soluble form of CD354 has been described that may play a protective role in some infectious disease states. |
