| 描述 | The ML5 monoclonal antibody specifically binds to CD24. CD24 is a 35-45 kDa two-chain glycoprotein expressed on hematopoietic cells, such as the surface of B cells, T cells, neutrophils, dendritic cells and macrophages. Expression on neural cells, epithelial cells and muscle cells have also been reported. CD24 is an adhesion receptor often used as a prognostic marker for cancer cells. Glycosylation levels can be highly variable and cell-type dependent. On B-cell progenitors, CD24 is expressed at various levels during B-cell development and may play a role in the regulation of B-cell proliferation and maturation. CD24 has been identified with the ligand CD62P (P-selectin), which can be found on activated platelets. |
