| 描述 | The MIH61 monoclonal antibody specifically binds to TLT-2 (TREM-like transcript 2 protein) which is also known as TREML2 (Triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells-like 2). TLT-2 is a 33 kDa type I transmembrane protein that belongs to the TREM family. It consists of a single extra-cellular Ig-like V-type domain, a transmembrane segment and a cytoplasmic tail. TLT-2 is expressed on B cells, granulocytes, monocytes/macrophages and a fraction of peripheral blood T cells. TLT-2 expression on neutrophils and macrophage is reportedly upregulated in response to inflammatory conditions in vivo. TLT-2 plays important roles in innate and adaptive immunity. It acts as an engulfment receptor for apoptotic cells and can enhance the activation of T cells. The MIH61 antibody reportedly does not recognize mouse TLT-2. |
