| 描述 | The 222821 monoclonal antibody specifically binds to Immunoglobulin-like transcript 5 (ILT5) which is also known as CD85a (CD85 antigen-like family member A), Leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor 3 (LIR-3), and Monocyte inhibitory receptor HL9. ILT5 is encoded by LILRB3 and belongs to the ILT/LTR family in the Ig gene superfamily. ILT5 is expressed by a variety of cell types including monocytes, macrophages, granulocytes, NK cells, osteoclast precursors, and a subset of T lymphocytes. This transmembrane receptor contains intracellular immunoreceptor tyrosine based inhibitory motifs (ITIMs) that can inhibit intracellular signaling. ILT5 can bind to MHC Class I molecules and appears to be involved in regulating immune responses such as NK cell-mediated cytotoxicity. |
