| 背景 | Breast and kidney-expressed chemokine (CXCL14/BRAK), also named MIP-2 gamma, kidney-expressed chemokine (KEC), and B cell and monocyte-activating chemokine (BMAC), is a member of CXC chemokine subfamily. Mature human and mouse BRAK differ by only two residues. BRAK transcripts are constitutively expressed at high levels in the basal layer of epidermal keratinocytes and dermal fibroblasts of skin tissues as well as lamina propria cells in normal intestinal tissues. |
