| 背景 | The trefoil factor (TFF) family contains three secreted, protease-resistant polypeptides that help to maintain gastrointestinal system integrity. Family members are 7-12 kDa in size, and contain a 3-disulfide bond generated trefoil structure that resembles a meadow clover. TFF1, 2 and 3 are produced in different areas of the digestive tract, and promote restitution, or the resealing of superficial wounds after injury. |
