| 背景 | PGLYRP1/PGRP-S is a secreted peptidoglycan recognition protein that is expressed by neutrophils, eosinophils, and a variety of tissues including the gastrointestinal system, salivary glands, and mammary glands. It binds to TREM-1 and HSP70 and mediates host defense against Gram-positive bacteria. PGLYRP1 protects against experimental colitis and experimental peptidoglycan-induced arthritis, although it can promote inflammation in dermatitis and house dust mite-induced airway allergy. |
