CD131 is a single pass type I transmembrane protein, belongs to the cytokine receptor superfamily and is shared by IL-3, IL-5 and GM-CSF receptors. The receptor specific α subunits is mainly involved in ligand binding and the common β subunit, CD131, is important for transducing the signal initiated by binding of the ligands to respective receptors.Additional Information: Clone REA193 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. |
