| 描述 | The MaP.mGILT6 monoclonal antibody specifically binds to mouse Gamma-interferon-inducible lysosomal thiol reductase (GILT). GILT is encoded by Interferon gamma inducible protein 30 ( Ifi30 ). This enzyme, also known as Lysosomal thiol reductase IP30, functions in the endocytic pathway by reducing protein disulfide bonds and facilitating protein unfolding. GILT is constitutively expressed at various levels in macrophages, dendritic cells, B cells, thymocytes, and T cells, and is induced by interferon gamma in other cell types. Enzymatically active GILT dimers can also be secreted by macrophages in response to bacterial stimulation. This enzyme plays an important role in MHC class II-restricted antigen processing and can promote MHC class I-restricted presentation as well. |
