| 描述 | The ACT5 monoclonal antibody specifically binds to the mouse Toll-like receptor 5 (TLR5), which is also known as CD285. TLR5 is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein and a member of the Toll-like receptor (TLR) family. It is expressed on the surface of monocytes, dendritic cells, neutrophils, and mucosal epithelial cells. TLR5 is a pattern recognition receptor that binds to bacterial flagellin. TLR5 signaling leads to the activation of cells that produce proinflammatory cytokines and chemokines, such as IL-6 and MCP-1. TLR5 thus plays a major role in initiating innate and adaptive immune responses. |
