- Store at -20 °C for one year. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20°C. When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody the antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-4 °C.

Function:
TIMM23 belongs to the Tim17/Tim22/Tim23 family and is an essential component of the TIM23 complex, a complex that mediates the translocation of transit peptide-containing proteins across the mitochondrial inner membrane.
Subunit:
Component of the TIM23 complex at least composed of TIMM23, TIMM17 (TIMM17A or TIMM17B) and TIMM50; within this complex, directly interacts with TIMM50. The complex interacts with the TIMM44 component of the PAM complex and with DNAJC15.
Subcellular Location:
Mitochondrion inner membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein.
Similarity:
