描述 | Miglitol is a pseudo-carbohydrate which inhibits α-glucosidases, inhibiting lysosomal α-glucosidase, sucrase, maltase, and isomaltase (IC50s = 0.35, 0.11, 1.3, and 1.2 μM, respectively).1,2 It also inhibits maltase-glucoamylase (IC50 = 1.0 μM).3 Miglitol can be used to prevent postprandial hyperglycemia associated with diabetes without cardiovascular complications.4 |
