描述 | Hexaflumuron is a chitin synthesis inhibitor used to bait and eliminate termite colonies.1 Hexaflumuron spreads efficiently through entire populations through mutual exchange of liquids viaregurgitation.2 Termites are unable to metabolize hexaflumuron and clearance is slow, resulting in up to 100% elimination. Hexaflumuron has also been tested for use with the raisin moth, cowpea weevil, and Asiatic rice borer with positive results.3,4 |
