| 描述 | Tauroursodeoxycholic acid (TUDCA) is the taurine conjugate form of ursodeoxycholic acid (Item No. 15121), a secondary bile acid produced by intestinal bacteria with hepatoprotective properties.1,2 It is found in small quantities in human bile but much more abundantly in the bile of black bears.2 TUDCA has been shown to inhibit apoptosis, in part by interfering with the mitochondrial pathway of cell death, inhibiting reactive oxygen species, reducing ER stress, and stabilizing the unfolded protein response.3 It demonstrates anti-apoptotic activity in a number of neurodegenerative disease models and retinal disorders and has been shown to reduce ER stress associated with elevated glucose levels in diabetes models.3,2 |
