It is effective against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, yeast, and fungi.1 This preservative is known as Kathon™ when used at a 3:1 ratio with methylisothiazolinone (MI).2 Recent reports have shown both MCI/MI and MI by itself can elicit contact sensitization.2 |
