描述 | N6-Benzyladenine (6-BAP) is a synthetic cytokinin that stimulates plant growth and regulates de novo bud development, leaf expansion, delay of senescence, and chloroplast formation in plants.1,2 6-BAP inhibits respiratory kinase in plants and increases post-harvest life of green vegetables.2,3 6-BAP also increases lipid and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA; Item No. 90310) production in Aurantiochytriumspecies.3 6-BAP treatment of myeloid leukemia cells induces differentiation into granulocytes.4 |
