Like other isoflavones, daidzin has anti-oxidant, anti-carcinogenic, and anti-atherosclerotic activities.1 Daidzin directly inhibits mitochondrial aldehyde dehydrogenase 2 (IC50 = 80 nM) and is an effective anti-dipsotropic isoflavone.2,3 |
