| 描述 | Nabumetone is an NSAID that is rapidly metabolized in the liver to a major active metabolite, 6-methoxy naphthalene acetic acid (Item No. 70620). This metabolite inhibits cyclooxygenase (COX) with Ki values of 21 and 19 µM for ovine COX-1 and COX-2, respectively and IC50 values of 70 and 20 µM for human recombinant COX-1 and COX-2, respectively.1,2,3,4 Nabumetone demonstrates anti-inflammatory activity in the carrageenan-induced edema model in rats and the ultraviolet-induced erythema model in guinea-pigs.5 |
