| 描述 | Baicalin is the glucuronide of baicalein (Item No. 70610), a flavonoid originally isolated from the roots of S. baicalensisGeorgi.1 Both compounds are reported to have neuroprotective, hepatoprotective, anti-viral, anti-cancer, and anti-anxiety effects in experimental models.1 The anti-cancer activities of the Scutellaria-derived flavones have been mainly ascribed to their reactive oxygen scavenging ability and attenuation of NF-κB activity, as well as their induction of cell cycle gene expression and COX-2 gene expression.1 Baicalin has been shown to inhibit HIV-1 replication by blocking the activity of the reverse transcriptase.1 It can also promote neural stem cell differentiation in vitro by activating ERK1/2.2 |
