- Store at -20 °C for one year. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20°C. When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody the antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-4 °C.

- background:
TNF receptor associated factor 7 (TRAF7) is an E3 ubiquitin ligase capable of auto ubiquination, following phosphorylation by MAP3K3. TRAF7 potentiates MEKK3 mediated activation of the NFkappaB, JUN/AP1 and DDIT3 transcriptional regulators. TRAF7 induces apoptosis when over expressed.
Function:
E3 ubiquitin ligase capable of auto-ubiquitination, following phosphorylation by MAP3K3. Potentiates MEKK3-mediated activation of the NF-kappa-B, JUN/AP1 and DDIT3 transcriptional regulators. Induces apoptosis when overexpressed.
Subunit:
Homodimer. Interacts with MAP3K3 and promotes the kinase activity of this enzyme.
Subcellular Location:
Colocalizes with MAP3K3 to vesicle like structures throughout the cytoplasm.
Tissue Specificity:
Ubiquitously expressed with high levels in skeletal muscle, heart, colon, spleen, kidney, liver and placenta.
Post-translational modifications:
Phosphorylated by MAP3K3.
Ubiquitinates itself upon phosphorylation.
Similarity:
Belongs to the WD repeat TRAF7 family.
