- Store at -20 °C for one year. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20°C. When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody the antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-4 °C.

- Function:
Component of the EKC/KEOPS complex that is required for the formation of a threonylcarbamoyl group on adenosine at position 37 (t(6)A37) in tRNAs that read codons beginning with adenine. The complex is probably involved in the transfer of the threonylcarbamoyl moiety of threonylcarbamoyl-AMP (TC-AMP) to the N6 group of A37. TPRKB acts as an allosteric effector that regulates the t(6)A activity of the complex. TPRKB is not required for tRNA modification (By similarity).
Subunit:
Component of the EKC/KEOPS complex composed of at least TP53RK, TPRKB, OSGEP and LAGE3; the whole complex dimerizes. Interacts with TP53RK/PRPK.
Subcellular Location:
Cytoplasm. Nucleus.
Tissue Specificity:
Widely expressed.
Similarity:
Belongs to the CGI121/TPRKB family.
