- Store at -20 °C for one year. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20°C. When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody the antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-4 °C.

- background:
NEURL is involved in the determination of cell fate in the neurogenic region of the embryo and plays a role in the determination of cell fate in the central nervous system. NEURL may act as a tumor suppressor whose inactivation could be associated with malignant progression of astrocytic tumors.
Function:
May function as an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase to activate monoubiquitination of JAG1, thereby regulating the Notch pathway
Subcellular Location:
Cell membrane; Peripheral membrane protein. Cytoplasm, perinuclear region.
Tissue Specificity:
Expressed in brain, testis, pituitary gland, pancreas and bone marrow. Also poorly expressed in an malignant astrocytomas and several neuroectodermal tumor cell lines.

Myristoylation is a determinant of membrane targeting
