- Store at -20 °C for one year. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20°C. When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody the antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-4 °C.

Zinc-finger proteins contain DNA-binding domains and have a wide variety of functions, most of which encompass some form of transcriptional activation or repression. ZNF206 (zinc finger protein 206), also known as ZSCAN10 (zinc finger and SCAN domain containing 10), is a 725 amino acid protein that contains one SCAN box domain and 14 C2H2-type zinc fingers. Localized to the nucleus, ZNF206 is thought to play a role in transcriptional regulation events. The gene encoding ZNF206 maps to human chromosome 16, which encodes over 900 genes and comprises nearly 3% of the human genome. The GAN gene is located on chromosome 16 and, with mutation, may lead to giant axonal neuropathy, a nervous system disorder characterized by increasing malfunction with growth. The rare disorder Rubinstein-Taybi syndrome is also associated with chromosome 16, as is Crohns disease, which is a gastrointestinal inflammatory condition.
Function:
Znf206 is a zinc finger protein and probable transcriptional regulator. It is expressed in embryonic stem cells and downregulated upon differentiation. Both Oct4 and Sox2 bind the znf206 gene.
