- Store at -20 °C for one year. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20°C. When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody the antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-4 °C.

MUC3 (Mucin 3) is an intestinal glycoprotein distributed in the colon and rectum, and to a lesser extent in breast, lung and salivary tissues. It is involved in conferring mucous visoelasticity.
Function:
Major glycoprotein component of a variety of mucus gels.Thought to provide a protective, lubricating barrier againstparticles and infectious agents at mucosal surfaces. May beinvolved in ligand binding and intracellular signaling.
Subcellular Location:
Isoform 1: Membrane; Single-pass membrane protein.
Isoform 2: Secreted.
Isoform 3: Secreted.
Isoform 4: Secreted.
Isoform 5: Secreted.
Tissue Specificity:
Broad specificity; small intestine, colon,colonic tumors, heart, liver, thymus, prostate, pancreas and gallbladder.
