- Store at -20 °C for one year. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20°C. When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody the antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-4 °C.

The KIR family consists of transmembrane glycoproteins of the Ig superfamily expressed on natural killer (NK) cells and a subset of human T cells. KIR2DL1 is a receptor on human NK cells for HLA-C alleles. It inhibits the activity of NK cells thus preventing cell lysis.
Function:
Receptor on natural killer (NK) cells for HLA-C alleles. Inhibits the activity of NK cells thus preventing cell lysis.
Subunit:
Interacts with ARRB2. Interacts with PTPN6; the interaction is enhanced by ARRB2. Interacts with PTPN11; the interaction is enhanced by ARRB2.

Cell membrane; Single-pass type I membrane protein.
