- Store at -20 °C for one year. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20°C. When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody the antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-4 °C.

Sodium-independent transporter that mediates the update of aromatic acid. Can function as a net efflux pathway for aromatic amino acids in the basosolateral epithelial cells.
Subcellular Location:
Cell membrane. Basolateral cell membrane.
Tissue Specificity:
Strongly expressed in kidney and skeletal muscle and at lower level in placenta and heart.
Post-translational modifications:
Not N-glycosylated.
Similarity:
Belongs to the major facilitator superfamily. Monocarboxylate porter (TC 2.A.1.13) family.
