- Store at -20 °C for one year. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20°C. When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody the antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-4 °C.

This gene encodes a member of the arginine/serine-rich family of splicing factors. The encoded protein functions in mRNA processing. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described. [provided by RefSeq, Feb 2009]

May play a role in mRNA splicing.

Interacts with MYOD1 (By similarity). Component of the SLC (SFMBT1-LSD1-CoREST) corepressor complex, which also contains KDM1A/LSD1 and RCOR1/CoREST. Interacts with KDM1A/LSD1 and RCOR1/CoREST.
Subcellular Location:
Nucleus.
Tissue Specificity:
Detected in adult testis, and in fetal brain and kidney.
Similarity:
