- Store at -20 °C for one year. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20°C. When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody the antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-4 °C.

- background:
Deubiquitinating enzymes (DUBs; see MIM 603478) are proteases that specifically cleave ubiquitin (MIM 191339) linkages, negating the action of ubiquitin ligases. OTUD7A belongs to a DUB subfamily characterized by an ovarian tumor (OTU) domain.[supplied by OMIM, May 2008]
Function:
Has deubiquitinating activity that is directed towards Lys-48 or Lys-63-linked polyubiquitin chains. Hydrolyzes both linear and branched forms of polyubiquitin.

Cytoplasm. Nucleus.
Similarity:
Belongs to the peptidase C64 family.
Contains 1 A20-type zinc finger.
