When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody the antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-4 °C.

This gene encodes a nuclear protein which functions as sequence-specific serine/arginine splicing factor which plays a role in mRNA processing, splicing patterns, and gene expression. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2011]
Function:
Sequence-specific RNA-binding protein which participates in the control of pre-mRNA splicing.
Subcellular Location:
Nucleus.
Tissue Specificity:
Highest expression in heart, skeletal muscle and pancreas. Less abundant in kidney, placenta and brain. Lowest expression in kidney and liver.
Post-translational modifications:
Phosphorylated in the RS domains.
Dimethylation at Arg-241 is probably asymmetric.
Similarity:
Belongs to the splicing factor SR family.
Contains 1 RRM (RNA recognition motif) domain.
