描述 | Resiniferatoxin is a natural analog of capsaicin (Item No. 92350) isolated from some plants of the genus Euphorbia, including E. resinifera.1,2 It activates the transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily V member 1 (TrpV1), formerly known as vanilloid receptor 1, with a Ki value of 20 pM.3 It is an extremely potent and selective activator of a sub-population of primary afferent neurons.4,5 |
